All Belk money or tickets are due Friday, November 6! Please send in your money for the tickets you have or send back the tickets that you have not been able to sell. If you need more tickets, the last day to get more is Tuesday, November 3, and the money has to be turned in by Friday, November 6.
Our fall fundraiser for the Entertainment Coupons ends this Monday, October 19th. Keep your order form at home to reference friends and family you sold books to…only turn in collection envelop with $$ amount enclosed and number of books needed written on the outside of the envelope. Be sure to let your buyers know books ordered will begin being sent home on Monday. If we need to order more, they will take 7-10 business days before we receive them. Prizes will begin being sent home on Monday as well. Don't forget....for every 5 books you sell, you will get a ticket for the drawing of the helmet cam. We will draw the two lucky winners on Tuesday October 20th. Remember, if you did NOT sell your book please return it by Monday October 19th, so we can use it to fulfill orders. We WILL be charged for those books.
Just a reminder that Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16 are Teacher Workdays. No school for students. I hope they all enjoy the long weekend!
Thank you to all who donated items for our class basket!! I greatly appreciate all of the Family Fun items. Someone bought a well filled basket of games and snacks!
For the Health and Safety Night on October 5, the PTA has asked each 5th grade class to donate a basket filled with items that revolves around a theme. PTA will auction off these baskets during the silent auction. The theme for our class is Family Fun. Here are some ideas that I thought would be really neat to include, but do not have to be:
-basket for the items -board games -healthy snacks (popcorn, baked chips, pretzels, Crystal Light/Powerade drink mixes) -items for S’mores (not the healthiest item, but oh so good) -gift certificate to The Ice Cream Station, Yogurt Mountain, Sweet Frog -Frisbees -coloring books/crayons -chalk If you will please send in all items by Wednesday, September 30 so that we can get everything in place. I greatly appreciate all that you are doing, have done, and will continue to do! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks bunches! There will be an informational DC parent meeting on August 25, 2015 in the Library at 5:30 pm. Specifics, cost, and fundraising opportunities will be presented at this meeting. The trip is May 17-20, 2016.
